I admit these may not be for everyone, the pattern is purely for all those girly Gertrude's out there, but I honestly do love them, and surprisingly, so far they've been incredibly comfy. However I admit i've only worn them around the house so far, (every real shoe lover knows the real test is on the mean streets of concrete, or even for heel lovers like me... the dreaded cobble, amateurs stay away for your own safety!). The gorgeous dusky peachy pink colour is amazing for this summer and would go well with the pastels that are bang on trend for this season.
Please everyone excuse my feet, I really am in desperate need of a DIY pedicure. As you can see there is a good inch of platform on the front of the heel making these 6 inchers easier to walk in, I always like to call these a fake heel. I must admit, I am not normally a fan of many patterns and colours as I seem to have a complex that I won't be able to pull it off, but these beauties are great to add a pop of colour to any summertime outfit, and best of all, because of the height and the fabric of the shoe (it seems to be a silky fabric that looks gorgeous when the light catches it), these shoes can easily be taken from daytime to nighttime.
I really was pleased when I found these and hopefully, fingers crossed, if the weather picks up I can wear these through the summer. I have a feeling these wouldn't bode well with the rain. Do you like these? Are you a heel lover like me?
